First, Glenn and I have been trying to put up insulation and sheet rock in the pool house. This has taken a lot of energy and recuperation spread over several days. We still have so much to do on this project and it may be stretched over several more weeks, but my hope is to get it completed before Thanksgiving.
One handicap has been me and my height. Putting sheet rock up on the ceiling has caused it to fall twice; once hurting Glenn, and once nailing me. Laughing, and a few days rest in between, has helped us recover and to press on. I don't understand why I always get tickled at the most inopportune times but it's wonderful to have a mate who laughs just as much right beside me.
Our next adventure has been working together on genealogy records for both sides of our family. We have had such a great time uncovering so much information and know in the end, when we get it altogether, it will be a wonderful gift to our children and grandchildren.
Thirdly, we have kept busy babysitting my little grandchildren and also attending soccer and T-ball games. I can't imagine what life will be like when the granddaughters become busy in their extra-curricular activities! It is a good thing they will all end up going to the same school eventually. :)
